9mm Nirvana!I recently purchased a new Bantam 9mm at my local indoor range at their cost due to a slight oxidization (1911 Display Case Neglect!) starting to set in on the interior of the slide, inside the mag-well, and the parkerized outer surface was also feeling pretty rough and dry as well. But the silver lining to the Glock-crazy staff's lack of attention toward 1911's was that it got me this Bantam-9 at cost!
Long story short, I took the gun home, stripped it down and "gently" wet sanded the flat surfaces with 0000 steel wool and then "gently" did all the serrations with Hoppe's brass and steel brushes making sure to "keep the pistol-n-parts plenty wet with Hoppe's Solvent". And for all my effort I came out on the other side with beautifully smooth satin finish that's absolutely stunning in any light!
As for performance, this Bantam-9 from round one has been feedin'-n-firin' like a lil' beast! I just finished my 2nd session with this Bantam and so far, at 450rds, I've only had one FTE and according to my range notes that was round #197 during my first 200rd session. IMO, that is an outstanding performance record for any new gun that's still in the 500 round break-in period!
I can't speak for the Bantam-45 but I can definitely say that if you're in the market for a compact 1911 in 9mm that'll cover both range and CCW applications then I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem of a pistol, she's a keeper for sure! -

Issues but quickly resolvedI purchased a new Bantam 45, fit and finish look like a gun twice its price. Took it out the day I got it and right off between 50-75% of the rounds I ran failed to eject stuck in the chamber or FTF. I used three different kinds of magazines, the OEM and and 2 ed browns. No change, mags not the issue. I got through 150 plus rounds hopefully it would resolved itself, multiple brands of 230gr hardball, not the issue. I went home, emailed Fusion it was a Saturday so I did not hear back until Monday. Heard from Tyler and Mary, all very helpful, got me a shipping label via email that day and I had it sent off to a UPS site by that night. Pickup was done for the day, so picked up on a Tuesday and I received it back in under two weeks, the second Friday following so about 12 days. Took it out and shot it, all flawless, 57 rounds, hard ball and 1 mag of carry ammo, few ejected towards my face but no more FTE or FTF. The paper returned with the gun said, new ejector, tuned and mag release polished. It worked and I am very happy, owned a lot of guns, 1911's et.al, only had to send one gun in for warranty on a Kahr many years ago. But a super high quality piece for a great price and I like it much better than the Colt New Agent and Kimber Ultra Carry II i've owned in the past. -

Wow. Am I impressed and that's tough to doSo I'm an avid collector of handguns, all calibers and years. Since I own a DW .357 I knew the quality of Wesson. I stumbled upon Fusion and became enamored with the Bantam line. I received it yesterday and here are my thoughts. First off, since it's all metal the gun is heavier than you'd expect. Secondly, the quality of the gun business obvious once you adjust to the weight. The gun is tight and smooth, wow I'm talking tight. Slide, magazine, trigger there's no give. Let's load er up and hit the range. 70 rounds of ammo is all I've run thru it so far yet, no issues with ftf or ejection. FLAWLESS. With the exception of one errant shot (likely the first one) all of the shots are inside a fist sized range at 15 yards. I'm sold. The grips originally felt a tad short yet once I started shooting I didn't miss the extra 1/2" grip length. This gun is not getting the attention it deserves for under a grand. It shoots better than my Kimber, Smith or Colt. Two thumbs up you have a new fan. Thanks for the quality. Matt -

I think this one is a keeper.Purchased a Bantam recently from my local gun shop. First impression is that it is a very sturdy made pistol. They didn't spare the steel making this gun. Slide, action, and trigger all very smooth. Had feed problems with the magazine that came with it. A couple of Chip McCormick mags fixed that right away. Shoots really good and very straight. Only real gripe is that the trailing edge of the slide safety has a very sharp edge that cuts my thumb when I shoot it. I think it just needs to be smoothed a little. Other than these minor things, I like it and intend to keep it. Next I'm looking to acquire full-size Reaction. -

AwesomeJust got some first time, trigger time with my Fusion Bantam Trump .45 pistol, all I can say is WOW! It's been awhile since I've fired .45 Auto, but this gun made that re-acquaintance much easier. This gun easily shoots better than me, but I'll get better :) Thank you Fusion for making and delivering a quality, full featured pistol line that doesn't break bank. -

A great little pistolI bought one in 9mm and had a mag well added. This is one great shooting compact. I love the quality of the workmanship, especially the checkering of the front strap. It is accurate, well made, and has not missed a beat. AND IT IS ALL STEEL! -

Great little gunWas very impressed with the lock up and feel of the gun as soon as I got it. But the performance really blew me away, very good groupings, much better than my EDC glock. Might have to find a holster and carry the Bantam. Strongly suggest trying these freedoms for anyone looking for a new 1911. -
